Simply put - if you follow the directions on the packaging, it will work just fine for you. Great cap.
I read some of the other reviews on here, and so I only ordered one stainless cap when I ordered my two water bottles. No big deal, but I should have ordered two. The packaging says "do not submerge." So, follow the directions and it will be a great, non-bacteria festering cap for your bottle!
