I bought this GPS for my hunting and outdoor excursions in Alaska and so far it has lived up to every expectation I had. It is very accurate and easy to use. It took me a little while to figure out how to put in to Alaska settings but it reads within 20 ft of our location almost all the time. We have tested it in thick cover and it hasn't let us down yet. We are going to be doing river float trips this summer and will put it to the test some more with the new Topo software. I will update then.
