Purchase Intex Supreme Air-Flow Queen Airbed Nylon Flocked with Built-in Electric Pump

We moved to a two bedroom apt. to save a deposit for a house purchase. One son in one bedroom, one daughter in the other and we choose to try an Air-Flow mattress in the living room while searching for a sofa-sleeper. Well, we are not purchasing a sofa sleeper after using this Intex! Much to our surprise, this blow-up bed is the most comfortable mattress we've ever slept on! We are amazed! We sleep better on this than we did on our $900.00 mattress in our old bedroom. I did a lot of research before choosing this model. I read tons of reviews. We are very, very pleased with our Intex airbed! This particular model, I choose because the reviews commented on the raised edges which kept you from literally falling off the bed if you rolled too close to the edge and allowed you to sit on the edge of the bed without sinking into an air pillow. These reviews were absolutely correct! The slightly raised edging works just as explained. I also chose this model because the definite distinction between the top and bottom "mattresses." As you can see in the pictures, the sheets can wrap around the "top" mattress and they stay on! We release the air every morning, so to reclaim our living room, and amazingly, the sheet and mattress pad never fall off in the process! We blow the bed up every night, and the sheet and mattress pad are still there, nice and taught! The motor is a little noisy when filling and releasing air, but very tolerable as it only takes a few minutes. The only thing that we have noticed that may be negative is that sometimes in the night, we have to reach our hand down to the on/off switch and pump in a bit more air, but this may be because on those nights, we simply didn't completely fill the bed before we got in. Otherwise it holds air well, is built super strong, and my gosh, it is so comfortable, we've been talking about keeping it as our bed when we move into our house and attaching a headboard to the wall so it appears like a "real" bed!
