Cheap Kaito KA404 Emergency Hand Crank Dynamo 5-LED Flashlight with AM/FM radio

I bought this because I plan on doing some extended hiking this summer, and it seemed like quite a useful thing to have on the trail. I got a chance to test it out this last week due to the large snowstorms we received that left my home without electricity. I must say that all the features work as indicated and to my satisfaction. I listened to the entire Super Bowl on this with only about 15 minutes total cranking time having to stop once at a commercial break and crank it again for a few minutes. I really only have one complaint about this product, but it is one that can be quite a hassle and one that I ran into, quite literally, after pulling it out of the box. The handle that one uses to crank the charger is attached to the unit with only a small, metal pin. Unfortunately, the pin does not stay in place and can easily move around so that it does not keep the handle in place. The first time that I went to charge it the handle came off and the pin fell to the ground. It took me about twenty minutes to find it in my carpet. If I had been outdoors it would have rendered this totally unusable because you cannot generate any sort of charge without it. After a while I became accustomed to always checking the pin was secure and in the correct position, but it still ended up on the ground four more times over the course of a week. Other than that, however, the product works well and just as it was described.Get more detail about Kaito KA404 Emergency Hand Crank Dynamo 5-LED Flashlight with AM/FM radio.
