Nice and bright light. Had an incandescent bulb two D cell flashlight, but found it somewhat dim during an actual power outage and wanted something brighter and with longer battery life. I have a Mag-Lite AA LED flashlight (recommended, have since bought a second one) and decided to get a 2 D-cell LED Mag-Lite. The flashlight is bright with an adjustable beam, battery life is good, and the switch is either toggle (on/off) or momentary (on while pressed).
