After enjoying this product (great light, very compact, inexpensive) for about one year I began to have some problems after changing the batteries. I was about to throw it away when I recalled that there was a lifetime warranty. I sent it to the manufacturer and sure enough I received a repaired product in less than 2 weeks with no additional shipping charge (it only cost about 60 cents to send).
