This table works exactly as anticipated. It is light, slides well and fits under the couch or chair. It angles to allow for working (on your laptop) or for eating/writing/fun stuff. While light, it is sturdy enough to stand up to daily use and common objects (it does have a weight limit). It also adjusts height for people with short or long torsos. My only warning is to watch it when moving away from the table to not knock it over backwards. That can and has occurred fairly easily. If careful, it is not a problem.
