After using the pack for about 2 months now it is still in great shape. The pack is easy enough to put on my dog. I started out with just the empty pack on her back and she didn't seem to mind. Since then she's carried food and water for the day when we go out to the park or to the beach. While she's wearing it she seems to be much calmer and worn out at the end of the day. Like many of the other reviews have said, the sizing chart listed is a bit generous.
