Last night I witnessed Thermacell in action. We were camping at Kettle Marian, Ottowa Lake sight in Wisconsin. After a rainy summer the mosquitoes exploded at 5:45 PM. We had a patio room set up on our camper and there must have been 50 or so mosquites hanging on the screens. I was bit 3 times so fast I could't believe it. I lit off my thermacell and was shocked at the reaction. Most of the mosquitoes left within 15 minutes. Those that did not fell to the floor and died.
